Updated:2012-06-15 15:37:14

There many types of natural stone used in our life, the fountain ball in the park or in the personal yard; Square Tiles for pavers; Rockery Stone used for the landscaping sculpture and so on. These facing seems roght than the granite and others, there are also have many river rocks, which is very shiny. We may have the question that how to make it shiny?

And no matter how rough and chipped rocks may be, they will become smooth if they remain under moving water for several years. Smooth river rocks are often used in building and landscaping since river rocks enhance gardens and pathways. They look store-bought when smoothed and can be painted or varnished. Small-sized river rocks can be polished in a rock tumbler, while larger rocks must be varnished or shellacked to make them shiny.

After research, we got several steps to make the river rocks shiny. First is to separate the rocks you want to polish according to the size. River rocks you have collected must be washed with soap and water and scrubbed with a brush. If you have an old toothbrush, the effect must be excellent. Dry the rocks with paper towels. Another steps is first from using the abrasive grit, then the fine grit followed by the pre-polish grit. Adding the rock polish is the last step.
