These stone producers are independent companies with own quarries and a full production line. JMS is located in Eichstaett, a medieval town situated between Munich and Nueremberg.
Toghether as a strong group, JMS is the largest quarrier of Jura Limestone and produces the full line of products like cut to size, tiles to slabs, massive works and special works. The state of the art production lines include the most modern techniques, for example undercut anchor drilling.

To enhance the natural beauty of the stone, it can be subjected to a variety of structures within our up-to-date production facility according to the architect's & client's specific criteria. Each of these structures gives the stone a special texture. Jura Limestone is ideally suited for polishing or honing respectively. The stone gains more color the more it is honed and the color transforms from beige to light grey, depending on the height of the honing grid.

The natural quarry rough texture of Solnhofen Stone provides a safe, non-slip surface. The high thermal conductivity prevents the surface from extreme heating, even in the hottest weather. Compared to split quarzites or flamed granites, Solnhofen Stone has a cooler surface and a naturally smooth surface structure.
