Currently Iran stone industry is facing the problem that they are lack of support and fun from government, and insufficient funds government hasn't yet encouraged foreign investors to join in large-scale mining exploitation. 90% of mining are managed by private enterprises. State-owned firm only manage the products which have high value.
In recent years, our country becomes the largest export country in natural stone block of Iranian, including onyx, stone caving, marble are very popular. Iran has more than 5,000 stone processing factory, 1,200 mine, more than 900 exploited mine. Aim at the whole country's stone resources, the developped stone resources only accounts for 25% of the whole country stone resources, there is still unexploited 75% stone resources. Therefore, Iran stone resources is strength in the world.
