Method to Clean Culture Marble

Updated:2014-02-10 13:50:05
Cultured marble is used in many homes as a surface for anything from countertops to molding accents. While browsing the cleaning product aisle of your grocery store, you will quickly notice the expensive cleaning products that are designed to be used on the cultured marble surfaces around your home. The best way to clean cultured marble, however, is to use your own inexpensive cleaning solution that you can make for a low price using household ingredients.

Instructions as follows:

Firstly, pour equal parts of water and vinegar in a spray bottle. Add three drops of liquid dish soap to the spray bottle if you are cleaning an area with soap scum buildup such as the shower or sink.
Secondly, spray the solution onto the cultured marble and wipe off with a damp sponge.
Thirdly, remove tough stains by soaking the edge of the sponge in pure vinegar and rubbing over the stained area.
Fourthly, wipe the cultured marble with a clean, damp sponge and dry with a towel.
Tips & Warnings
Squeegee shower areas after each use to keep soap scum buildup at a minimum.
