Woodkirk Stone is a fine grained carboniferous sandstone
Colour:The colour of newly quarried stone varies from blue through grey to buff. The stone weathers to a rich buff - brown
Usage To ensure optimum colour distribution in finished walling, we recommend that stone is laid from more than one pallet
Density 2400 Kg / m 3
Compressive Strength 54 N / mm2 for buff or grey rising to 108N / mm2 for Blue Paving
Flexural Strength 11.5 MPa
Water Absorption 4% by weight after 24 hours at 20 oc
Abrasion Resistance 21.1mm
Slip Resistance Wet -76, Dry - 82
